Strikingly individual, twin brothers Craig and Charlie Reid have over the years enjoyed huge success across the globe as the emotional honesty, political fire, wit and sing-along raucousness of their songs and their extensive touring has enlightened and entertained fans new and old. The Proclaimers have carved out a niche for themselves in the netherworld where pop, folk, new wave and punk collide. In the process they have enjoyed Gold and Platinum singles and albums in UK, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
After completing a two-year World tour late in 2013, Craig and Charlie took 2014 off to focus entirely on writing a new album. They headed to Rockfield Studios in December with their band and producer Dave Eringa (Manic Street Preachers, Wilko Johnson and Roger Daltrey, Idlewild, The Who) and recorded their tenth studio album for release on Cooking Vinyl in April this year. This year they return to the road to continue doing what they do best - delighting fans with their music.
"I find it hard to put into words quite how the music of The Proclaimers makes me feel. It makes me laugh. It makes me cry. It just makes me generally euphoric" Matt Lucas
Moulettes are steadily being singled out as one of the best alt-folk artists that have arisen in the past decade. With strings, guitars, drums, bassoon and synths, Moulettes' music weaves between indie folk, chamber pop and prog rock to create an incomparable universe.
Renowned for their breathtaking live shows it is clear that few bands have the creative range and work ethic of Moulettes. They are constantly evolving with a brave approach to production and arrangement that seeks peculiar ways of blending acoustic and electric instruments.
Band member Hannah notes: "People listen to Moulettes and apparently hear Shostakovich, Pentangle, Pink Floyd, Bjork, Portishead and even Skrillex. That is where we've all come from...everyone shares in over 80 years of an eclectic recorded music history".
"A clever and Original Band. Sophisticated and Unpredictable" ★★★★ The Guardian

Benji Kirkpatrick performs the songs of Jimi Hendrix as you've never heard them before. Benji takes Hendrix's songs and re-interprets them; stripping back the layers of guitar, the psychedelia, the era and bringing the songs out in their pure form. Leaving the guitar behind altogether Benji tackles this material on bouzouki, banjo and mandolin, creating a unique approach and sound for these songs.
